King's Kitchen in Conroe, Texas

Do you ever get tired of eating at the same places?  Today a friend and I had lunch at a spot that all my neighbors in Panorama Village are raving about.  It has to be one of the best kept secrets in Montgomery County.  The meal was only $6.00 for an entrée, 2 sides, cornbread, salad and dessert.  All homemade!  I choose pork chops smothered in gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans with regular cornbread (jalapeño cornbread was also offered).  Although the mashed potatoes were thin everything else was a must do again!
Let's not forget dessert ... just imagine coconut chess pie!
Everyone was friendly.  The clientele seemed so happy to be there.  Although not expected, yes, I did tip.  There is a tip can on the buffet line close to where you pick up dessert.  I was thrilled to eat in such a pleasant atmosphere and can't wait to go back.
